Pau-Gelos national stud farm
At the gateway to the city of Pau, the Pau-Gelos stud farm is one of the most impressive of the national stud farms, and is also remarkable for its dynamism. It caters for sixty stallions, thoroughbreds and local breeds: pottoks, Landais and Meren ponies… Also to be discovered on site are the collection of horse-drawn carriages dating back to the 19th century, and the 18th century château and its traditional handicrafts.
