Chocolate Days (from 3th to 4th June 2011)

On Friday and Saturday of Ascension weekend each year, Bayonne celebrates its chocolate in the purest tradition: festivities in the streets of the city where enthusiasts are invited to taste gourmet chocolate samples created by master chocolatiers.

Through the streets and along the quays, guided tours retrace the history of chocolate and the Bayonne inhabitants, the first master chocolatiers in France to work with the cocoa bean.
A production region is also honoured each year.

On this occasion, the tourist office is offering an all-inclusive weekend.
